West Virginia Day Open House with the WV Humanities Council

To celebrate West Virginia’s birthday on June 20 from 2 to 4pm, the Humanities Council will open the historic MacFarland-Hubbard House for tours with light refreshments. Come visit Our Old House, enjoy a West Virginia-shaped cookie and learn about the 1836 house, a landmark property listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of Charleston’s seven antebellum houses. The house was built when Andrew Jackson was president and later used as a hospital during the Civil War.
