Historic Wooden Windows Workshop – Harrison County WV Historical Society and PAWV

Join the Harrison County WV Historical Society and Preservation  Alliance of West Virginia for this one-day workshop. We will get a hands-on approach with the goal of learning skills needed to rehabilitate a historic wooden window to Class II status – Stabilization, according to the National Park Service. Participants will learn how to make repairs on historic wooden windows in a historically-correct, safe, and timely manner per National Park Service standards.

Anna Lynn Stasick, PAWV’s statewide field services representative, will lead the workshop. Stasick has led workshops of this manner for over 7 years, has over 20 years of contracting experience, and has rehabilitated dozens of historic wooden windows.

The cost of the workshop is $15 if you are a member of either PAWV or the Harrison County WV Historical Society. For nonmembers, the cost is $25. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited so sign up today by contacting Crystal Wimer at hcwvhs@gmail.com.
