We are pleased to announce that our Annual Meeting and Conference will be held March 31st to April 2nd at Pipestem Resort State Park! This year’s theme is “Protecting Our Collections” in response to the devastating flood that affected 44 of West Virginia’s counties this summer. If you or someone you know was affected by this flood, has experience in paper, photograph, or artifact conservation, or has experience in dealing with any type of disaster please submit a session proposal!
We are now accepting proposals for papers, presentations, workshops, exhibits, and poster sessions addressing collections care, management, maintenance, and emergency preparedness. As always, we are also accepting session proposals which address conservation, history, and preservation-related issues. We especially encourage hands-on sessions that will teach our members new skills.
